Capture the job before billing
Service work needs more context than a product name. Vehicle registration, work performed, technician notes and warranty information can be useful, but each field should have a clear purpose. Use configured business fields rather than squeezing everything into one item description.
Keep the customer-facing document readable
Axein Billing offers a Detailers Service layout alongside clean, traditional and accountant-review options. Keep quantities, rates and totals aligned; place job details in a dedicated section, and omit unused optional fields.
The business logo and signature image come from settings when the document is rendered. A signature image is visual authorization, not a cryptographically certified digital signature. Long notes and terms should wrap rather than force a one-page squeeze.
Confirm CRM ownership before connecting it
CRM and billing are separate records. An integration must define which system owns customers, vehicles and job details, and how updates are matched. Availability depends on the configured customer integration; it is not automatic for every workspace.
Approve realistic samples before rollout
Print one short bill, one long bill, a customer with multiple vehicles and an edited existing invoice. Check tax treatment with the accountant and field visibility with the person who issues bills.
